Athena Tries to Assist Icarus
She couldn't hold onto him
any more longer than
a tired limb would've held
on even if every grim
tiding turned also-ran
so slowly her hand rebelled.
Then swiftly he tumbled out
turning quite flighty all
the meanwhile he's yelling words
of courage but troubled 'bout
starting to surely bawl
and that'd be for the birds.
